Privacy policy

This policy covers the Warble web app at warble.garden and the Haw browser extension. Both keep their working data on your device. I do not run ads or analytics, and I do not sell your information.

Warble

Warble stores your library, settings, recordings, learning data and imported audio in your browser. It processes recordings and imports locally. Exports go only where you choose. You can delete your library in Warble or clear everything through your browser’s site-data controls.

Warble downloads and caches its app and optional content from warble.garden, hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub Pages receives standard web requests, including your IP address and browser information. No tracking is added, and these requests do not contain your library, imports or recordings.

Haw

Haw stores your blocklists, sessions, selected Warble folder, pending changes and temporary site passes in your browser. It checks visited sites locally. When Haw blocks a site, it opens Warble and remembers the address until you complete the practice gate by saving and starring a take.

Haw does not send your personal information, browsing history, usage information or recordings to me or an analytics service. It does not sell or share them. A preview loads the waiting site directly in a restricted frame with no referrer; it does not pass through my server. Those sites keep their own privacy practices. Removing Haw removes its stored data through your browser.

Haw uses browser information only for its site-blocking and practice-gate features. I do not use it for ads, credit decisions, lending or anything unrelated. Haw’s use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
